Art Workshop & Lessons:
All the workshops and lessons available are listed below. You can choose the one that appeals to you and call to schedule an appointment for whenever is most convenient for you! The number is (304) 647-4600. Our available days are Mon-Sat. Available times are 10 till 5 (closing time is 6,but you'll need an hour at least for the workshop or lesson!).

Lessons are $20 per hour (most lessons are about an hour, we'll let you know when you schedule if it's longer than that). Discounts available on group rates. Art supplies are %15 off for materials relating to your lesson.

Regarding Kid's Classes: We'll tell you if any of the listed classes can work for your child or if they're too difficult. Right now we're taking kids on a case by case basis. Some kids like personal lessons others want to meet in groups. Call to work out an arrangement.
BASIC DRAWING TECHNIQUES (PART 1):
Beginners class
Materials needed: 2b, 4b, 6b graphite pencil, pink pearl eraser, drawing or sketch pad, blending stump(optional)
Techniques: Students will do a simple still life practicing shading techniques and also contour drawings for practice.
BASIC DRAWING TECHNIQUES (PART 2):
Intermediate class
Materials needed: 2b, 4b, 6b graphite pencil, pink pearl eraser, drawing or sketch pad, blending stump(optional)
Techniques: Using the grid method students will create a finished product.
PORTRAITURE:
Beginner to Intermediate class
Materials needed: 2b, 4b, 6b graphite pencil, pink pearl eraser, drawing or sketch pad, blending stump(optional)
Techniques: Draw a face using the rules of proportion.
BASIC COLORED PENCIL TECHNIQUES (PART 1):
Beginner class
Materials needed: Prismacolor pencils are recommended. They're available in packs or individual pencils.
Techniques: Practice blending and color on simple shapes to create depth with color. A simple still life will be rendered using those techniques.
BASIC COLORED PENCIL TECHNIQUES (PART 2):
Intermediate class
Materials needed: Prismacolor pencils are recommended. They're available in packs or individual pencils.
Techniques: Using the grid method to create a finished product using colored pencil.
PEN AND INK TECHNIQUES: 
Beginner
Materials needed:  An ink pen with a consistent flow (Microns recommended) or any good rolling ball pen. No ball points.
Techniques: Using simple subjects learn shading and drawing with ink.
STIPPLING:
Intermediate
Materials needed: Technical pens with at least 2 different sizes(Micron multiliner recommended)
Ttechniques: Create photorealistic art using nothing but black dots.
STAMP MAKING:
Sharp tools needed so age appropriate only
Materials needed: Linoleum cutters, linoleum blocks, stamp pads
Techniques: Make a personalized stamp by using tools to carve linoleum block.
BASIC CHARCOAL TECHNIQUES: 
Beginner
Materials needed: Vine or willow charcoal sticks, Sketch or drawing pad, Spray fixer, kneaded eraser----- Optional supplies: Blending stump, charcoal pencils in black and white
Techniques: Practice sketching with charcoal and create art using subtractive techniques as well.
CARTOONING: 
Beginner to Intermediate
Materials needed: A good ink pen, drawing or sketch pad
Techniques: Practice techniques and learn concepts to help you create fun and simple cartoon style art.
ANIME/MANGA ART STYLE:
Beginner to Intermediate
Materials needed: A good ink pen, drawing pencil, drawing or sketch pad ---Optional Supplies: Prismacolor markers
Techniques: Learn techniques to create the mega popular Japanese animation/comic art style.
COMICS:
Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert (We'll work to your skill level)
Materials needed: Varies based on skill level. At the very least drawing supplies (pencil or ink) and a sketch or drawing pad.
Techniques: Although content varies based on skill level all classes focus sequential art and visual story telling present in comics.
